The body bends around the chair as if giving in to something larger than itself. The structure does not dominate aggressively, but quietly defines the figure’s posture, weight and direction. Here identity appears through surrender. Not every transformation comes from pressure or imitation. Sometimes the self changes by allowing another form to hold it, soften it and temporarily decide where it belongs.
